ADDAX Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited has conducted various QA/QC and Nondestructive Testing of facilities for ADDAX at both land and offshore locations – Izombe and Calabar Offshore. Projects handled include Ultrasonic Flaw Detection and Thickness Measurements to establish Baseline data for statutory maintenance of flowlines and pressure vessels. Also covered are Integrity Surveys of Production Platform and Flare facilities to determine conditions of Jacket and Topsides structures.
TECHNIP Nigeria Limited ITL has conducted Non-destructive Testing covering Ultrasonic Flaw Detection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Radiography and Dye Penetrant Inspection for various TECHNIP projects both land and offshore, including EXXON-Mobil EPC project.
WEST AFRICAN OILFIELD SERVICES (WAOS) ITL has conducted various NDT services for WAOS on Chevron Meji Jacket, Riser and Pipings.
DANOS AND CUROLE / OFFSHORE MARITIME SERVICES LIMITED Various modifications, repairs and maintenance of offshore vessels such as Jackup barges belonging to DANOS and CUROLE while under maintenance by Offshore Maritime Services Limited were duly inspected and tested by various NDT methods by Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited. NDT methods used were Ultrasonic Flaw Detection and Thickness Gauging as well as Magnetic Particle Examination.
POWERWELLS SERVICES HOLDINGS Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging of various pressure vessels, tanks, compressors, etc have been carried out by Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited for statutory inspection of these facilities belonging to Powerwells, a member of the Halliburton Group.
WILLBROS WEST AFRICA LIMITED Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited is running a call-off contract for Quality Control and Non-Destructive Testing services for WILLBROS West Africa covering manpower supply of Internationally certified Welding Inspectors, Ultrasonic Flaw Detection, Radiographic Examination of welds and Magnetic Particle Inspection of facilities.
Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited (TOTALFINAELF) ITL has conducted painting inspection of Okpoko flow-station and Upomami tanks minor rehabilitations works for TOTALFINAELF.
ITL has also carried out NDT examinations for welding fabrications (pipelines and pressure vessels) for various EPNL projects. These include radiography and pressure testing for various EPNL construction contractors including WAOS and SNIG Nigeria Limited.
NIGERIAN AGIP OIL COMPANY LTD ITL recently won and successfully executed a NAOC contract for Inspection and Certification of Ebocha Oil Center Production Separators and is currently executing another for Isolation, Statutory Inspection, Pressure Testing and Commissioning Of OB/OB NGL Spheres (Unit 1650 A/B/C/D). Inspection and Tests Nig. Ltd (ITL) has also provided non-destructive testing services for NAOC construction contractors including radiography for ETS GALBA at IDU, SUDELLETRA Nigeria Limited at OSHIE and radiography/pressure testing of lines for GEFESCO Nig Ltd. at PIRIGBENE(Brass). We have also rendered QA/QC services for Advanced Coating Technology Limited at Nembe and Radiography/ Pressure Testing and Nitrogen Purging for ASCOT OIL & GAS LIMITED at IDU Flowstation.
DBN ITL has also supplied Non-Destructive Testing and Radiographic Examination equipment to DBN on Mobil Producing Nigeria projects for Quality Control in production welding.
The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited (ITL) is currently providing over a hundred local and expatriate personnel to SPDC for QA/QC and inspection services for a-three year duration. ITL has also for over six years provided Quality Control, Inspection and Non-destructive Testing services such as welding and facilities inspection and Radiographic Examination for SPDC and her construction contractors including DEC OIL & GAS Limited, HORCHI Construction Nigeria Limited, ENOSCO Nigeria Limited, AJUNWA Nigeria Limited, PROJECT MASTERS Nigeria Limited, BIHOCS, EMMANIQUE, ROMEK, SMECO, INDEX BROOKS and J+G GLOBAL Gas & Oil Services Limited, SLOT Engineering, MANSID Nigeria Limited, TOTAL SYSTEMS Limited, MORPOL Ind. C S A NIGERIA LIMITED CSA Nigeria Limited has utilized the services of Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited for Ultrasonic Testing of Welds for flaws on the Rig, ADRIATIC 6 on a subcontract.
BW Offshores/DNV ITL has successfully completed Tank Inspection of an FPSO (SENDJE BERGE) belonging to Bergesen Worldwide Offshores AS under DNV supervision and made useful recommendations for DNV recertification of the vessel.
Nigeria LNG ITL has also offered services to Nigeria LNG contractors such as SNIG NIG. LTD. and Nmokpa Ent., covering radiography, corrosion control and pressure testing of facilities at Bonny.
ASCOT Oil and Gas Limited We have conducted various Nondestructive examination for ASCOT including pressure testing , magnetic particle inspection, dye-penetrant examination, radiography and vacuum box leak detection for her various contractors including Halliburton, NAOC and Texaco.
AMNI Petroleum Nigeria Limited ITL has also executed Nondestructive Testing services for AMNI including radiography, magnetic particle examination and pressure testing of facilities at AILSA CRAIG offshore platform. We have also conducted ultrasonic gauging of Deck Plates and Base Beam of AILSA CRAIG for AMNI.
Drillog Petro-Dynamics ITL has also conducted radiographic examination of drilling spools for Drillog Petro-Dynamics.
Pipeline Integrity Nigeria Limited (PINL) ITL has also offered NDT services to PINL including radiography/welder’s qualification tests , pressure testing of facilities, magnetic particle/dye penetrant inspection and ultrasonic measurements of Langley Offshore production facilities for Schlumberger Nigeria Limited.
Chevron Nigeria Limited Various CNL Contractors including WECO Nigeria Limited, GRINAKER-LTA Construction Nigeria Limited and Transcoastal Nigeria Limited have used Inspection And Tests Nigeria Limited for various quality control and non-destructive/destructive testing services including radiography, ultrasonic scanning for flaws, dye-penetrant and magnetic particle examination as well as destructive tests for qualification of welders/welding procedure.
WECO Engineering and Construction Company Limited ITL has also executed non-destructive testing services for WECO at Neptune Base Jetty on EPC 1 Fabrication and Construction including Ultrasonic Flaw Detection, Radiography of welds and Magnetic Particle Examination for EXXON-Mobil / Technip.
Grinaker-LTA Construction Nigeria Limited Grinaker-LTA retains the services of ITL for various welding inspection and nondestructive testing including radiography, ultrasonic scanning of welds and MPI for various projects including MEJI A platform fabrication for Chevron Nigeria Limited, Meren Jacket X and Y, Meren Helideck and Okan Final Upgrade. We also conducted Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging and Magnetic Particle Examination on Noble Rig’s Tommy Craighead Refurbishment. We have also supervised and tested the construction of ABB Jumpers and East Area Project Fabrication including Jacket and Bridge Construction.
ADDAX Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited ITL has successfully executed two contracts for ADDAX focused mainly on facilities statutory inspection and maintenance. Pressure vessels and production platforms with associated facilities including production separators were examined and tested to confirm their current status and predict remaining shelf life. Pressure vessels at Izombe, Adanga, Mimbo, Ebughu, Bogi, Akan and Oron were inspected and tested. Inspection and testing procedures included Ultrasonic, Radiography, Magnetic Particle Examination and detailed Visual Inspection.
HAZCON Nigeria Limited ITL has conducted various welding inspection and nondestructive examination of production welds for HAZCON on AMNI Gas Injection Modification and ADDAX Adanga South West Expansion projects.
Parker Drilling Nigeria Limited ITL has executed ultrasonic gauging of Tank Sections of Rig 73 and Rig 74 at various times for Parker Drilling Nigeria Limited to ABS specification for general Rig maintenance and reconstruction. We also conducted ultrasonic scanning of entire welded bottom panels of Rig 73 to confirm integrity of the welds.
Noble Drilling Nigeria Limited ITL has also carried out ultrasonic thickness checks of Rig Legs for Noble’s Percy Johns Rig on a sub-contract with ACUTECH Nigeria Limited. We have also, on such subcontract, carried out extensive ultrasonic thickness gauging of Tommy Craighead Rig for Noble Drilling. We have also conducted Radiographic Examination of welds for Noble Percy Jones Rig repairs and maintenance.
DWC Drilling Nigeria Limited/PIVOT-GIS Nigeria Limited ITL has also inspected and tested various sections of a land rig for DWC Drilling while undergoing general maintenance and repairs at PIVOT-GIS Fabrication yard.
Profab Nigeria Limited ITL has certified welders and carried out radiographic examination for Profab Nigeria Limited to ABS specification.
Bulfinger + Berger Nigeria Limited We are currently executing an NDT/Welding Inspection contract for B + B for her SPDC operations including the completed 24”/28” Nembe Offshore Trunklines replacement covering Radiography, Ultrasonic flaw detection, Magnetic Particle inspection, Dye-penetrant Examination and Holiday Detection.
CONOCO Energy Nigeria Limited Ultrasonic gauging of CONOCO’s Rig (FPSO INDEPENDENCE) was successfully conducted by our personnel at Ukpokiti Field under ABS supervision and useful recommendations made.
Halliburton Energy Services Nigeria Limited ITL has rendered pressure testing services and equipment rentals for valve certification as well as statutory UT examination of pressure vessels to HES Nigeria Limited.
Technip/ Exxon-Mobil We are currently handling all NDT and QC requirements for Exxon-Mobil East Area Projects including Ultrasonic Scanning of welds, Radiographic Examination, Magnetic Particle Examination and Welder/Procedure Qualification at both Aker Base and Rumuolumeni Jetties.
Offshore Maritime Services Ltd / Danos and Curole (Nig) Limited ITL has completed Ultrasonic gauging of tank sections of Aimee Danos Jack-Up barge at Duoala, Cameroon and made recommendations for repair and rehabilitation.
