The Company is being administered by seasoned professionals. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Mr. Sam. A. Onyechi who has held top management positions in several Companies of repute including Quality and Standards Nigeria Limited, (Managing Director) Grand Allied Engineering Limited (General Manager) and Allied Inspection Services Limited (General Manager).
Mr. Sam. A. Onyechi is a tested Administrator with a vast knowledge in Quality Control processes and Non Destructive Testing. He was trained variously at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt.
He holds training certificates in Non Destructive Testing Methods including safe practices of Industrial Radiography and Nuclear Waste Management from the Federal Radiation Protection Service, Dept. of Physics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also holds a training certificate in Quality Management Systems ISO 9001-2000 issued by The Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON). He is a member of both The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and The Nigerian Society for Nondestructive Testing (NSNDT). He also holds membership of The Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
He was the Contracts Manager, Administration Manager, and General Manager of Allied Inspection Services Limited where he worked for over ten years.
He is on the board of several reputable companies including the renowned Quality and Standards Nigeria Limited and ITL Training and Certification Limited.
The head of our Engineering Operations is Engr. Etonyeaku Leonard who holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a first Degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and Federal University of Technology, Owerri respectively. He also holds various training and competency certificates in Welding Technology, Welding Inspection, Metallurgical Failure Analysis, and Quality Control in Welding from The Welding Institute (TWI) Cambridge, UK. He has also attended courses in Environmental, Safety, Administrative and Management Principles and Practices including ISO 14001 EMS Training, Fire Fighting, Contract Administration and Procedures, and Enhanced Contract Management from The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC). He holds both membership of COREN and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
He is a tested Pipeline and Welding Engineer with a current CSWIP 3.1 Certificate of Competence in Welding Inspection issued by TWI Cambridge, and has over 15 years cognate oil and gas experience. He has worked as Projects Engineer and Quality Control Supervisor with several Companies including The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) where he worked for over 4 years as Pipelines Engineer.
Engr. S. Kumar Head - NDT
Our NDT Head is Engr. Swaminathan SenthilKumar, an Indian graduate of Mechanical Engineering who has above 22 years field experience in the NDT industry. He holds proficiency certificates at ASNT Levels III in UT, RT and MT. Engr. Kumar is an experienced field Inspector skilled in the application of relevant codes and standards to pipeline projects and has worked as an expat personnel for various oil companies including SHELL Nigeria and SHELL Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. He also holds an internal auditor certificate from TQMI – an IRCA certified training group in India.
Engr. Peter D. Sugah Manager - Operations
The Technical crew is also supported by our Operations Manager, Engr. P. D. Sugah who holds a Higher National Diploma in Physics Engineering with over eighteen years experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance and NDT processes and holds competency certificates in these areas including ASNT Level II in various NDT methods. He is also a British Gas certified painting inspector.
Skilled Level 11 personnel including Mr. Antony Joy, an Ultrasonic Flaw Detection specialist of Indian origin, are in charge of our field NDT operations. Mr Joy has Level 11 Certificates in various NDT methods including Radiography, Ultrasonic including TKY, Magnetic Particle and Dye-Penetrant Inspection. He has worked in various countries as an expat UT Specialist including KAZAKHSTAN and ABU DHABI. He holds a EUROPEAN STANDARD (EN-473/92) CERTIFICATE in RT, MT, UT and PT.
Mr. Aligwe, A. N. The head of our Quality and Environmental Management Services is Mr. Aligwe, A. N. who holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Degree in Chemistry from the University of Calabar and has over 16 years experience in environmental projects covering ecological studies, impact assessment, profile surveys, and environmental resources management. He has worked in several oilfield locations for Shell Petroleum Development Company and Exxon-MOBIL and has several reputable consultants in his team. He is a trained Quality Auditor with a training certificate in ISO 9000 Quality Assurance Course issued by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
Engr. Nandury V. L. Narasimha Rao who is also an Indian citizen, is in charge of our Welding Inspection Department. Mr. Rao is a vastly experienced mechanical engineer with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, He also has various training certificates and qualifications including a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), European Welding Inspection Technologist Diploma, CSWIP-3.2, AWS-SCWI (Senior Certified Welding Inspector), and ASNT Level III in UT, RT, MT, and PT. He is in addition a European Welding Inspection Specialist, CSWIP/BGAS – Grade 1 Painting Inspector, and API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector.
